Sunset by Australasia is a new Pacific paradise in the heart of Manchester’ s Spinningfields district. With Asian fusion dishes, an exotic afternoon tea, Japanese ‘kakigori’ desserts and masterfully blended cocktails, Sunset offers an instant getaway from the fast pace of the city.

 

The plan:

Our first priority was to build out persona targeting to ensure maximum exposure to relevant potential customers. We did this by using the following targeting options:

  • existing personas from LV bars
  • creating audience targeting of 21- 44 year olds, using geo-location and interests. 
  • foodies persona
  • social influencers from key areas surrounding and including Manchester.

Our campaign after 2 weeks finished by taking a small new audience to one of the fastest-growing Instagram audiences in Manchester.

By creating an official #sunsetmcr hashtag, we allowed users to create content when visiting the bar, culminating in a bank of User Generated Content. This content will help drive awareness and new customer acquisition, and also keep a consistent buzz on social.
