ALDI is the nation’s low-price grocery leader. WhiteNoise were appointed to create online social content for the brand, to coincide with World Banana Day.
Celebrating World Banana Day, we made sure everything was a gorgeous yellow tone, featuring plenty of bananas (and cake). WhiteNoise created a 20-second stop-motion animation to celebrate World Banana Day on the 20th April, bringing to life Aldi’s Twitter feed and catching over 1.3million Facebook fans on their evening commute.
According to Unruly, enjoyment of video ads increases purchase intent by 97% and brand association by 139%, so by generating regular, engaging video content, Aldi can continue to penetrate the UK market and secure brand loyalty. A supermarket that was once in the peripheral area of the industry is now enjoying its place as the 6th biggest chain in the country, overtaking Waitrose.
